Buffet 1:



Appetizer

A variety of small breads with traditional Heurigen spreads such as spicy cheese, egg, garlic, gorgonzola or lard

 

Salad Buffet

Tomato salad, cucumber salad, cabbage salad, potato salad, apple-leek salad with cream, winter asparagus salad

 

Main Dishes

A selection of favorite dishes from the following options:

Pork roast with caraway seeds and a crispy rind, pork roast, cabbage roulade, smoked ribs, pasta with ham, pasta with cabbage, pan fried black sausage, pork schnitzel, fried or roasted chicken, spinach strudel with tartar or cream of garlic sauce, fried black sausage slices

 

Side Dishes

Sauerkraut, hash browns, bread or potato dumplings

 



Buffet 2:



These options can be prepared in addition to our Buffet 1 selection.

 

Appetizers

Antipasti plate with roasted zucchini, eggplant, peppers, goat cheese stuffed olives, goat cheese stuffed peppers, dried tomatoes, and picked peppers; goat cheese from the Waldviertel marinated in onions, pumpkin seeds and pumpkin seed oil; gelatin with boiled beef; cured meat or vegetable gelatin marinated in balsamic vinegar, onions and pumpkin seed oil


Main Dishes

Roast duck or goose with red cabbage and potato dumplings, pork with mashed potatoes and roasted onions, broccoli casserole, meat or fried pork lard dumplings with sauerkraut, creamed lentils with bacon and potato strudel

 

Dessert Buffet

Apple strudel, Topfen or cream strudel with vanilla sauce

Cheese platter with a variety of Austrian and Italian specialty cheeses and fruit

These options can be prepared in addition to the Standard and Heurigen Buffet selections.

Vitello Tonnato, roast beef with tartar sauce, prosciutto-wrapped melon, game pie with strawberry horseradish, smoked salmon with mustard sauce

Mushroom ragout with bread dumplings, pork tenderloin with ratatouille, grilled bacon-wrapped goat cheese on a bed of lettuce, fried mushrooms with tartar sauce, wild game ragout with bread dumplings, fried asparagus with ham and cheese, fried Emmental cheese with cranberry sauce, warmed roast beef with mixed vegetables, egg dumplings with salad, fried chicken liver with tartar sauce, spaghetti with wild garlic, Pork Wellington


Dessert Buffet

Strawberry or currant mousse cake, Cardinal’s cake, Emperor’s pastries with egg liqueur sauce or chocolate sauce with whipped cream, Topfen dumplings with strawberry or wild berry sauce, tiramisu with grappa-soaked raisins
